Awesome Breastforms is powered by a generous, talented group of women who knit and crochet breast forms for other women across the United States. If you’d like to give your time and creativity to help restore comfort and confidence to someone who needs it — we’d love to welcome you.

💖 What It Means to Volunteer

As a volunteer, you'll:

• Knit or crochet high-quality breast forms using approved materials and standards

• Cover the cost of yarn, stuffing, packaging, and postage

• Complete at least one order every 60 days

• Join a private, women-only community of skilled, supportive volunteers

• Most of our communication and coordination happens on a private Facebook group, where you’ll also receive mentorship and feedback from our Quality Assurance team.

We provide the pattern, guidance, and encouragement — you provide the care.

• Apply to volunteer
  Fill out a short form to tell us about your skills and interest.

• Complete your test forms
  You’ll be matched with a mentor and submit samples for approval.

• Join our team
  Once approved, you’ll be able to claim real orders and start making a difference.

  🔎 A Few Important Notes

• Volunteers must not smoke or live in a smoking/vaping household

• Yarn must meet our quality standards

• Forms must be scent-free and pet-hair-free, the women who order our forms are often very sensitive to odors
