Why our Volunteers do what they do.

I love belonging to a wonderful group of women who create gifts from their hands and hearts to other women in need of extra love and attention. ~Kathy R

I joined because I belong to Lions International a humanitarian organization. And we serve to give back to others. I love what we do for other women all over the world. It my passion to help others. ~Shari N

Knitting brings me such comfort and peace, helps me get through rough times but also helps me celebrate good ones. To be able to knit something that brings joy to someone else, especially someone who has been through pain and uncertainty, is a privilege and a joy. If I can bring a smile to a woman's face, if I can help her love what she sees when she looks in a mirror, I'm going to. ~ Eileen E
I was so thankful to receive my Awesome Breastforms after using hot and uncomfortable commercially available forms. I was so touched to discover this group that was willing to spend their time, money and creativity to create these, not only comfortable, but also pretty forms! Realizing how loved I felt when I received them, I had to volunteer to crochet them as well and let other breast cancer survivors know they are cared for and not alone. ~ Julie S
A close friend introduced me to AB. As a breast cancer survivor she explained what options were available to women after surgery. I was sold! The Admins were so welcoming. I found the sisterhood was a great fit for me ~ Eileen J
